INTENTION PORTAL DAYS

The 26 intention portals (scattered throughout the second half of the Tzolkin are a time for prayers, rituals, ceremonies, and requests. You may be able to help others understand their needs. These are sowing days; manifestation portals are the reaping days.

On these portal days, energy is flowing up from the physical world through the veil to the spiritual plane. Pray, cast spells, conduct rituals, send thanks and offerings, make requests, and initiate whatever to you want to manifest during the next sacred cycle.

This is a time of intense energy exchange with other dimensions. Any “I am” statements are particularly relevant, even ones you say as a joke. When you use the phrase “I am,” you are giving an instruction to the universe, to create that real- ity. When you say “I am” make sure that what follows is what you really are—or really want to be.

Also, be very careful of “death” statements: “I’m starving to death,” “I’m so bored I could die,” “ This job is killing me,” “I’m so mad, I could strangle him.” Learn what impeccable language is—saying only exactly what you mean and phrasing it in positive language. You can feel bored, but phrase it as “I need to find something more stimulating to do right now.” Impeccable language is always appropriate, but it’s even more so on these days that the universe is actively listening for your commands.

Another type of phrasing to be wary of is “I want” statements. Sometimes these keep you in a state of wanting, rather than receiving. You don’t want a new car, you are grateful for the transportation the universe has provided you, and the more grateful you are, the better your options will be. You can help to create the reality and life you are looking for, but you need to use the right words. The symbol is a curl of incense smoke carrying prayers and requests to the gods.
