Caban Concepts

The Mayan glyph for Caban represents incense smoke; the Aztec symbol for Ollin is a twist. That twisted symbol surrounds the center of the Aztec Sun Stone, as the Aztecs believe this world age will end on a 4-Ollin day, with earthquakes. Caban represents incense as an offering, life force (itza), and evo- lutionary or physical movement. It demonstrates involuntary upheaval. Caban shows that words and intentions are at cross-purposes, limiting or prohibiting manifestation.
